Most Ka band components are very wide band (18-40GHz), poorly spec’d and very expensive. With new applications opening in narrow communication bands in the Ka Band region, Narda-MITEQ has decided to design a new line of coax components dedicated to these new narrow bands.
In doing so we have greatly improved the RF specs where needed and reduced the cost at the same time. We offer products covering these new bands and we are able to adjust and change to any new band that opens up in the 18-40 GHz range very easily.
The latest satellites are currently using Ka-Band for uplink and downlink communication. Other manufacturers of coax components for these applications are producing wide-band components that are expensive due to their specifications.
Narda-MITEQ is now offering specific narrow band components that handle uplink frequencies from 27.5 GHz to 31.0 GHz and downlink frequencies from 18.3 GHz to 20.2 GHz. By narrowing the bandwidth of the Ka-Band coaxial components, Narda-MITEQ can offer products with better specifications and better pricing.
